Verbier, known as the ‘’pearl of the four valleys’’ is well-known for its exceptional, off-piste skiing, south-facing mountains and heavy-hitting nightlife.
Southwest Switzerland’s Four Valleys ski area is recognised for its large and varied piste network and as an off-piste mecca, and THE MOUNTAIN Verbier is the crown jewel.
The ski resort is located 1,800 metres above sea level, and the ski area rises to an altitude of 3,300 metres, providing single-ticket access to the Four Valleys network's 410 kilometres of off-piste terrain and various patrolled off-piste itineraries for advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Hiring a guide for the day is the best way to discover the secret powder stashes, high altitude glaciers, and steep couloirs of the Alps, or you could always go on a heli-skiing adventure.
After-skiing in Verbier is legendary, as are the mountaintop eateries found there.
